Rare 19th-century black-and-white photos of Huế's imperial citadel

A Flickr user named manhhai has posted 13 photographs of the imperial capital of Huế, in central Vietnam, taken in the 19th century. The pictures were taken by a French military cartographer living in Indochina at the time.

The photos of the Huế citadel were taken between 1896 and 1900. Pictured here is the Xung Khiêm Tạ pavilion in the garden of the Tomb of Emperor Tự Đức.
